  • blind的基本意思是“失明”,指没有能力看清事物。引申则表示对显而易见的事物“视而不见”,也可指“盲目的”。
  • blind一般指双目失明,“一只眼瞎了”应说blind in〔of〕 one eye。“左〔右〕眼瞎了”应说blind in the left〔right〕 eye。
  • blind在句中可用作定语、主语补足语或宾语补足语。
  • 表示“某人是盲人”时,只能以人作主语,不能用eye作主语。blind一般也直接修饰eye。
  • 表示“对…视而不见”时须接介词to。
  • blind前加定冠词the,可表示“盲人”这一类人。在句中用作主语时,其谓语动词一般要用复数形式。
